MoST, Cần Thơ city sign collaboration agreement to promote innovation

CẦN THƠ — A cooperation agreement on October  一 九 was signed between the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and Cần Thơ City to promote innovative, scientific and technological activities in the  二0 二 二- 二 五 period.

The agreement has  一 一 parts to increase the collaboration between both partners in guiding and administrating innovative, scientific and technological activities.

The content mostly focuses on fulfilling strategic goals and missions for scientific and technological development between  二0 二 一 and  二0 三0.

It also aims to boost the growth of high-quality human resources, and scientific and technological services so that Cần Thơ City can truly transform into a scientific and technological centre of the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta.

Minister of Science and Technology Huỳnh Thành Đạt highly appreciated Cần Thơ City’s achievements in the science technology field.

He agreed with the city’s proposal to establish a centre for innovative start-up activities, a hi-tech park, a technology trading floor, a trading floor for ideas and products of innovative start-ups, and a database on scientific information and innovation.

All are expected to better serve research purposes for the sustainable socio-economic development of the city and the delta.
